So, State of WA Conservatives, Republicans, and Dino Supporters... Rossi Ends Gov Contest - Now What?

My dad has a saying, and it applies here pretty well:

"When the going gets tough, the tough get going."

Christine Gregoire is going to serve out her term as Governor of WA State, barring some sort of miracle or federal investigation. She is the governor, but you don't have to like it.

Some of you out there may be asking: what do I do now? How can I help? If you are one of those and you are ready to "get going", then here's where you can start:

  • Push I-912, at NoNewGasTax.com

  • Support breaking up King County - visit http://www.cascadecounty.kendra.com/

  • Get behind Tim Eyman and the Fagans at Voters Want More Choices (I-900 and I-905)

  • Contact your county officials (especially King County) and demand changes for real election reform

  • Contact the WA State Republican Party and find out what's needed to help

  • Queen Christine wins the battle today; the war goes on. But it takes work - money is great, but if you can't afford to make donations, volunteers are always needed. There's lots to do, and the clock is ticking.

Are you ready to get tough? Are you ready to get going?

    Comments:
Dino Rossi did the right thing. He goes out a winner and its time to move on, with a lot of work to straighten out the mediocre status quo and use the initiative process to enable a judge to set aside elections like this - the existing statutes are inept - and enable illegal voters. We already know that the Democrats prefer this type of status quo.

King County Elections warrants a Federal investigation from their performance in the 2004 election and it has been shown that they have broken Federal laws. Hopefully, this investigation will go to the top and expose those from Ron Sims on down - as they are complicit in disenfranchising legal voters by no enforcement of illegal voting - past and current - just alot of lip service to be politically correct & do nothing.

The dems got away with it yet again but this might have been their last one. I predict a huge voter backlash against the left in the next election whatever election that might be. They won the battle but I feel based on public opinion, and Queen Christine's terrible approval ratings (3rd lowest in the nation), we will win the war.

Rossi did do the right thing. And if he and Al Gore ever meet they can give each other a big hug and dry each other's tears. I think the right wing sting here is the dems are fast learners. Oh well, can't win em all.

I think you, Orbusmax, were very helpful in waging this fight.

People need to go to prison, and any attempt of the ins to protect illegal voters and either venal or incompetent election officers should be grounds for removal from office.
Just as people who handle other people's money need to be held to a high trust, those who handle other people's votes must also be above reproach.

    I agree with Josef

Dino & Co. gave it their best shot....REALLY! Now, it's time Dino, etal. to fall back and regroup. I believe that if he decides to run again for Gov. in 4 years he'll take it in a (relative) landslide.

For all you (illegitimate) Gov. (by ballot theft) Gregoire lovers/supporters: you got what you wanted. DO NOT be shocked, dismayed, surprised, etc. if in the next 4 years ** YOU ** lose your property, jobs, homes, etc. because of her (ostensibly) ruinous tax, etc. plans that will, if left unchecked/unchallenged, continue (if not complete?) the anti-business, anti-property ownership, anti-voter, anti-progress, pro-"tax you into the ground", pro-socialist/communist, etc. agenda started by Booth Gardner and furthered by successive Govs. Lowry and Locke. Remember, BOEING left the state because of Locke's anti-business attitude, and it wouldn't surprise me if Weyerhaeuser, Microsoft, and any/all other Large Employers in this state decide to follow Boeing's lead and take A Hike!

If (when?) that happens, we Rossi supporters will have ZERO compassion, etc. for you as you got what you deserved....

I agree that Dino did the right thing by not pushing for an appeal. I think it is more wise to take the time, energy, and money that could go into an appeal and use it for the next election cycle that, for the 60 percent of Washingtonians believe was stolen, will spell success for Dino if he should decide to run for Guv again.

Chrissy G. and her Socialist buddies that were able to grease the wheels of the political machine so well without getting much detection were able to win this battle today. But the war is not over that they choose to engage us in.

If we are to win this war against the Reds like the G.-Girl and those that have infiltrated this country to its detriment, we are going to have to even more vigilant at the polling places, push for election reform, instigate initiatives, and also run for individual offices.

You think the G.-Girl is bad? Wait 'til Shrill Hill (Clinton) runs and wins. Waco was nothing compared to what she will unleash on this country.

If you want to end Socialism, Communism, Fascism and other Left-leaning atheistic, secular ideologies, beliefs, etc. then
    1)Turn off the tv
    2)Listen to talk radio
    3)Start reading conservative websites
4)Get your child out of our public(aka government) schools and send them to private, parochial or home school or home school cooperatives
5)Get involved in your faith and learn the core values and virtues of it
6)Take what you learn and teach them to your children, improve your home, church or synagogue and your local government
7)And the most important of all is....PRAY to our Creator, God, for help in taking back our country from those who are doing their best to remove any trace of Him from our country.

All of these changes, both good and bad, started many years ago in the home. Women are the key to these changes.

Do we want men who will be strong, Godly, leaders in our homes, in business, politics, religion, the media, and our educational institutions?

First, it will take women returning to the home to make that committment to developing lifelong relationships with their boys that will give them the confidence to go through the process of achieving their goals. And it takes a committed man as a husband and father to show his boys the what goals they can possbily achieve.

Have as many children as you can afford. Typically the Socialists have smaller families than those of Faith.

If we want to win this war we have to think long-term. Think 1000 years into the future. What you do today will reverberate throughout history and help determine the winner of this game called Life.

Do you want a life for your great-great-great grand children of darkness, pain, hopelessness, enslavement, and fatalism? Or light, joy, hope, and freedom?

    It's your choice.

Mr. Rossi just proves to us even more how much class Christine DOESN'T have.
I wish nothing but good luck to Mr. Rossi.
Christine will prove to us all how much trouble she will cause the State of Washinton.

    Dinogeddon in 2008!! Be prepared!!!

You know, my dad always said the same thing.

I think what has happened in washington and almost in florida in 2000 has pretty much proved that the title of Hugh Hewitt's book, "If it's not close, they can't cheat" is extremely accurate.
Keith Olbermann rabidly tried to make Ohio a "close" state. Even the Green party and Libertarian party candidate tried to fund the "too close to call by 100,000 votes" issue.
What really chapped my hide was that larger blue states than Ohio won with MUCH less votes and they never got scrutinized a little bit.
NEXT TIME, LET'S MAKE IT A LANDSLIDE FOR OUR SIDE!

The only voting reform your gonna get is vote by mail. That way some stranger can review and enhance any ballot that seems out step with the socialist utopia being insured by the Politburo.

    Why bother.

Among the list of things we should do is replace Chris Vance. Under his leadership, the Democrats have gained control the House, the Senate and the governor's office. He's had his opportunities, and now it's time to go...fast...or you can kiss our state goodbye.

Now aren't all you Vance supporters sorry you didn't make Mark Hulst the State Chair? Chris Vance has once again proven his ineptitude.
Consider this: While it was right for Rossi to push his election challenge, Vance's use of the situation to secure another term has bankrupted the Party. The party needs to be fundraising for next year's elections. Instead, precious time and resources are going to be wasted raising money to pay lawyers fees. Well, I, for one, will not donate a penny or a minute of time to the WSRP again until Vance is gone.
Chris, if you are reading this, do the right thing for the ggod of the party. Resign.

    Anon,
I agree, Vance needs to go. Remember Vance drove a solid conservative out of the Senatorial race when we conservatives knew Nethercutt would get creamed.

As an Eastern Wa. Republican I have to say that I side with splitting the state. I know that makes many conservatives on the west side a little scared in that you will be in the fight alone.

However it is just not fair to hold those of us over here hostage.

There will never be a large Republican victory in this state as long as the two sides are together. And if elections are close Democrats cheat. That's a fact.

I wan't my own state and Cathy McMorris as my next govenor... hehe

McMorris as governor? I shudder at the thought...

I am impressed with how Dino Ran his campaign I wish he would run again for governor in 08" I'm sure he would this time win by a landslide just like Jeb Bush he ran twice & became governor of Fl.

I would like to see Chris Vance replaced too. I didn't think so untill I heard he was for the gas tax!! What absolute buffoonery! How bad do we really need thsi kind of leadership?!
